Tripadvisor's 2020 Fall Travel Trends

Lots of great stats revealed on Tripadvisor's Fall Consumer Travel Study. So what did they find?

🍂 65 % of all travelers are planning domestic fall getaways.

🍁 79 % of those travelers are planning a September trip - the busiest fall travel month!

🏞 61 % of U.S. travelers are more likely to consider outdoor or nature trips.

🚗 54 % are more likely to consider road trips now compared to before the pandemic

🌴 Key Largo and Key West are the most popular for hotel bookings this fall.

💸 Travelers are being more budget-conscious this year, staying in less expensive hotels than they may have last year.

🗓 55 % of travelers booking two to five-night stays and 36 % only booking for one night.

🧼 68% percent of global travelers say safety and cleanliness of establishments are important when traveling locally.
